Power couple, rosieGOLD (hair artist) and MIKEYNITRO (multi-disciplinary designer), have decided to join forces to open up SOAKED IN BLEACH BOUTIQUE SALON in West Covina, California – a place they hold close to their hearts as these are the streets in which they, unknowingly, both grew up on. Due to their deep personal connection, it’s the perfect location to open a small business, focused on giving back to the community, to which they owe their upbringing.

Starting from an early age, rosieGOLD had a strong interest and pull towards the art of hair – From different styles, cuts to color, hair has always grabbed her attention and she had an undying curiosity in figuring out how those looks were created. During her journey in life, she attended university to study Marketing Management, in which she received her Bachelor’s Degree. She then set out into the world to find a place where she belongs. Soon after she had the rare opportunity of working at the prestigious Boeing of all places! But none of the said successes were able to fulfil her hair-obsessed heart. Against all odds, she took a chance, against everyone’s advice and left the life she had known behind, with the only explanation that she could feel her soul slowly dying each day she was not pursuing her love for hair. From that point on, she made it her goal to hold herself up to a high standard – taking classes from some of the best in the industry, applying what she learned mixed in with her attention to detail, to bring the best service she possibly can to you. For rosieGOLD, there is no better feeling than being able to assist you, her valued client, in bringing out your expression of who you truly feel you are; to make you feel the most beautiful and confident than you’ve ever felt.

As for born artist, MIKEYNITRO, from the moment he could pick up any instrument for creating, he has done so – at a level beyond expectations. To him, it was easy and came very naturally. He attended Don Bosco Tech, earning his diploma with and an Associates Degree for Drafting Design. Later, he quit his career working for the LA Superior Courts to attended his dream school: Art Center College of Design to study Environmental Design. During his career as a designer and now Art Director, he has had the opportunity to design and lead projects for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Ford Rouge Factory, Google, Las Vegas Raiders, and various distilleries in Scotland, including Johnnie Walker to name a few.

With this salon lead by experienced hair stylist, rosieGOLD,and personally branded and designed by MIKEYNITRO, the couple is hoping to build a team with like-minded, driven and artistic individuals with the kindest hearts. rosieGOLD and MIKEYNITRO are firm believers in creating your own happiness rather than trying to find it elsewhere. They plan on being more than just a salon, but rather a space to create in and inspire.
