SAFETY.

Just because stay-at-home orders are lifted doesn’t mean the virus is gone. The virus is still very much alive and living amongst us. With that said, your safety is our top priority and our personal responsibility - we take this very seriously. Outlined below is what we are doing to keep you safe.

COVID-19 PROTOCOL.

Here’s a list of general precautions we are observing:

  • We will have hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes, and disinfecting sprays available on-site.

  • Stations are positioned and designed to be 6 feet away from each other.

  • Air purifiers will run during operating hours.

  • We will have no more than 4 clients in our workspace at a time.

  • Extra guests will NOT be allowed inside the workspace.

  • Doors will be closed in order to manage who enters our workspace – booking appointments are highly recommended as opposed to walk-ins.

For staff and artists:

  • Will have gone through BARBICIDE® COVID-19 Certification Course and BARBICIDE® Certification Course.

  • Will be surveyed on health conditions and have temperature taken daily before entering the workspace.

  • Will, once cleared, immediately wash their hands with soap and water for 20-30 seconds upon entering the workspace.

  • Will limit the amount of personal items and belongings we bring into the workspace to bare necessities that can fit in our pockets – cell phone, wallet, and keys.

  • Will be wearing personal protective face masks for the entirety of the time spent within the workspace and will change out masks after every client.

  • Will take extra time before and after each client to properly sanitize and disinfect our working area and tools.

  • Will take turns in shampoo bowl usage in order to preserve social distancing as well as allowing time before and after to sanitize the area.

For Clients:

  • Before approaching the salon, while still in your car, please message your artist via text or phone call to inform him/her of your arrival. Your artist will then direct you when it is appropriate to approach the salon so we can then give you a short survey and take your temperature.

  • Will wear personal protective face masks for the entirety of the time spent with us.

  • Will be surveyed on health conditions and have temperature taken prior to entering the workspace. If you are sick, recently sick, or have been in contact with someone who has been sick, you will be restricted from entering the workspace. Please reschedule if you are not feeling well.

  • Will, once cleared, immediately wash their hands with soap and water for 20-30 seconds upon entering the workspace.

  • Will limit the amount of personal items and belongings brought into the workspace to bare necessities that can fit into your pockets – cell phone, wallet, keys, etc.

While some of our procedures have changed, please know the love and care your hair has always received will not change. Let’s work together to ensure the safety of everyone. We appreciate your patience as we navigate uncharted territory. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
